View of the Mission
Great Lakes Christian College is an institution of higher education located in Lansing, Michigan. The school seeks to glorify God by preparing students to be servant-leaders in the church and in the world. This four year institution offers a wide variety of majors from which students study to help them in their chosen fields. Students also enjoy an array of activities and programs including music, drama and athletics. Great Lakes sports team compete against other colleges and universities in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).
Our Missionaries
Caring, qualified, committed - these words describe the GLCC faculty. They are interested not only in educating students, but also in the mentoring of students themselves. The professors are well prepared to teach the word of Christ in the spirit of Christ and they are committed to being fine Christian role models.
Plan of the Mission
Harvest Christian Fellowship is committed to the work of Great Lakes and supports GLCC by sending financial support on a monthly basis as well as partnering in Great Lakes events throughout the year. Not only does our church family partner with Great Lakes in different events, we also participate in these various GLCC activities. The proximity of the school has been a blessing to our church family as faculty and staff from the school have led leadership retreats and classes at Harvest. Members of Harvest who are interested in an undergraduate education are encouraged to visit the school or check them out on the web.
